Meet Dr. Ryan

Dr. Daniel Ryan is a board-eligible periodontist originally from Houston, Texas. He holds a double D.D.S., having earned his dental degrees from São Paulo State University and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During his training, he provided care to his community, laying the foundation for his commitment to patient-centered dentistry. Before specializing, Dr. Ryan practiced as a general dentist for five years in both São Paulo, Brazil, and San Antonio, Texas, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive care.

He completed his specialty training in Periodontics at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas, where he also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology. As Chief Resident, Dr. Ryan led clinical teams and helped integrate evidence-based technologies and techniques into advanced periodontal care.

Dr. Ryan offers a comprehensive range of periodontal services, including soft tissue grafting, regenerative procedures, and dental implant surgery. He is certified in intravenous (IV) sedation, ensuring patients have the option of a more relaxed and comfortable treatment experience. He is especially interested in procedures that enhance both function and esthetics, using science-backed approaches to achieve long-lasting results.

Fluent in Portuguese and professionally fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ryan strives to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds. His approach is defined by empathy, precision, and a collaborative spirit, working closely with each patient and doctor to build trust and design personalized treatment plans.

Outside the office, Dr. Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Juliana, and their dog, Brownie. Together, they love traveling, discovering new restaurants, working out, and going fishing. They’re also passionate Formula 1 fans and rarely miss a race weekend. Whether at home or away, they enjoy finding new experiences and making the most of their time together.
